Experienced rider wanting riding time in the Pittsburgh Area?
I am a 24 year old who has had horses all of her life. I recently moved into the Pittsburgh area (Cheswick/New Kensington/ Allegheny Township/Kiski area) and the horses stayed with my mom in Michigan. I am a very experienced rider (4-H, open and breed shows, high school and college equestrian team) and I am looking for a place to either take lessons or someone who would be willing to let me ride their horses. I have ridden mostly Arabian and Quarter Horses, but am willing to ride any breed. I am mainly a western rider, but was brought us riding Hunt Seat and Saddle seat as well. I don’t really jump even though I have taken a few lessons on it… it is just kinda scary to me!! Please let me know if you know any place that would be willing to give me lessons or you have a horse that needs to be ridden.
