Horse Riding Clothes?
What is the difference between breeches and jodhpurs? Or are they they same thing?
Are there any advantages to wearing short as opposed to tall boots?

Yes, i think breeches and jodhpurs are the same thing.
Personally i prefer short boots as tall boots make it more difficult to keep your heels down, obviously effecting balance/posture and are sometimes known to rub on your saddle. Although i have found that after wearing short boots the stirrup leathers have rubbed on my leg so i like to wear chaps which solve the problem and they look good.
