Pfeifer honored for 25 years as diocese bishop
SAN ANGELO — Bishop Michael Pfeifer has been known for his prayers for rain, even coordinating area-wide prayer events in West Texas for the at-times sparse resource. So it was that Pfeifer mentioned the weather outside during the opening of the Mass celebrating his 25-year ordination as bishop of the Catholic Diocese of San Angelo.
