Fashion question regarding black leather riding boots?
My girlfriend loves to wear tight knee length black leather riding boots outside her skinny jeans. She loves the classic, powerful, and attractive look. Just recently, she suggested I get a pair of black leather riding boots (similar to mounted police officer boots).
My question is….is it fashionable ok for a guy to wear a black pair of riding boots under or over my pants? I imagine they look alot like dress shoes underneath pants, and over my pants it is more of a dominant and equestrian look. It seems like alot of effort just to get this kind of boot on! My girlfriend has to use a boot jack to take them off, and boot pulls just to get them on!
Any insight from guys or woman are welcome. Just for your info, I am a straight guy and I do realize that my girlfriend thinks I would look hot in boots.
honestly, i think that it looks feminine when guys wear boots over their pants. idk maybe your girlfriend is into that look in guys
if you wear the boots and cover your pants with them, its true that they will look like dresss shoes. but leather boots are expensive, and your probably better off buying a nice pair of dress shoes that are easy to put on and that you actually like
You should just wear whatever you want. I suggest that you try some on and see if you like them.
