Folica Shipping to Canada?
I ordered a Sedu straightener, a blowdryer, some CHI silk infusion and a couple of brushes to replace my crappy dollar-store-esque ones, and that’s all fine and dandy, but as a Canadian, I should have been smarter(or more aware).
I kind of accidentally selected the UPS Worldwide Saver shipping method. UPS is pretty notorious for tacking on ridiculous brokerage charges on anything coming into Canada, although I have not had the pleasure of being a victim until now.
My order’s about $220, and I’m expecting to pay a hefty amount and learn a good lesson. Still, most everyone I’ve heard of who has been victimized by UPS has used their ground shipping, where I believe the Worldwide Saver is air-based(after ordering late Tuesday, and the product getting into a neighbouring town of mine today at 10AM…although it hasn’t shipped to me yet).
So has anyone ordered from Folica in Canada and not been held at knifepoint by UPS? I figure, the more you know….
