A few questions about wintec tack?
Hi,
I am considering buying a new english saddle, in the past i haven’t really liked the look of a synthetic leather saddle, but i recently saw the wintec 2000 and wintec 500, and i like the look of them.
I also like the idea of the cair panel, but im getting back into showing, eventing and equation, hunter jumper. I was wondering if synthetic saddles are allowed to be used in higher level shows?
I was also wondering if the wintec bridles are allowed to be used, and if not, what is a bridle that looks good with a wintec saddle?
Also, what are soem other good brands of all purpose saddles that are fairly well priced (under $1000).
Thanks!
ashabarab, they dont make bright colored english wintec saddles…….
I’m not too sure about english saddles but I do know that in general you get what you pay for. After reading the nightmare about the Wintec saddle I would never put one on my horse and I don’t even ride english.
I can tell you that there is a tack shop in my area that does consigned saddles and they have some really nice english saddles (all purpose and dressage) with some big name – (I don’t remember off the top of my head) and they are selling for under $1000. I do know they are good – I know one was a Stubben. The tack store owner does sell things online – email me at: christina.maas@hotmail.com if you’re interested.
