tack horse definition
Horse Terms?

I ride horses alot! However i would like to become somewhat more familiar with the horse terms such as definitions to things like galloping, running, walking and everything in between! Like what are all the types and the differences between them!? Also things like the body parts of a horse and saddle and tack terms and what they are used for. I would also want to know all the terms and definitions of all of the things like a green broke horse or just a regular broke horse. I also want to start becoming competitive in horse barrel racing and racing so any tips and terms for that would be helpful. I mostly know what these things are but i want to know specifically what the definitions are. If you have a website that would be helpful but if you ride horses and you have any suggestions or definitions for these it would be a great help thank you so much for your time! I love horses!

walking-is the about the speed we walk just on a horse.
then its
trot-a step above a walk it is very bouncey
then
Galloping- is faster and smooth you should be able to feel the lead( which is one of the front legs that goes farther out then the other one)
Running- is the fastest and it is harder to fell the lead.
The mane is the hair along the neck and the tail is the hair on the butt, the barrel is the back of the stomic,
Tack is the word for everything you use. the horn is the thing in the front of the saddle that you can hold on to, bridle is what you put on the head hucked to that is the bite thats wat goes in the mouth of the horse.
A gree broke horse means it was just trained not for experenced riders, I have a green horse I just broke. A reg. horse has experince. I do barrel raceing, It takes hard work and time to get really good . I love horses too,
