Need to find a good Equestrian College?
I am trying to find a good Equestrian College. I am hoping to get a degree in Equine Genetics and would also like to get a degree in Western Riding. I have tried searching online for good colleges, but can’t seem to really find what I am looking for.
I want to find a college that is well known for it’s Equine programs. It needs to have several different programs related to horses. It also needs to have the option to board your horse on campus, or have boarding stables close to campus. I have a horse, and she is coming with me wherever I go. =)
I don’t really care if the college is private or not, and it doesn’t matter what state it is in. I just need one that is in the US.
Does anyone know of any good ones?
I am from Michigan, but don’t mind relocating. Really distance isn’t an issue as long as the college is right. I’m much more interested in the right school rather than the closest one.
William Woods near Columbia Missouri… known for their equestrian program. I almost went there, but decided on a different major.
Here’s a link…

Here’s the majors:

the two horse related ones are:
Equestrian Science
Equestrian Administration
Where are you from???
Here’s a directory…. I’d look close to home so you wont have to fly…
