Do Horses Legs get Hot with Polo’s?

Hey Guys!!!!
So…..I have never really gotten into using Polo Wraps for my Horse…..I actually have a Pair in the Tack Room…but I have never used them….but I found out that they have such cute DESIGNS!!!!!! And I REALLY want a Pretty/Fun Design for my Horse!!!!!!!!

I would think that any kind of boot would get hot…especially fleece ones. I use polos when i trailer my horses just because they stay on better (my gelding tends to rip shipping boots off). Splint boots are good for working a horse in because they offter more protection and support and are made of less material…therefore keeping the legs cooler. Also polos are not good for mud or water so they are difficult to clean and i image they get uncomfortable for the horse after being wet for a while.
