My horse freaks out when I ride her in the field!?
When I ride my horse in the riding ring, she’s calm and relaxed…when I ride her in the field she’s pulling at the bit, bucking, taking off, prancing and not enjoyable to ride. Is there anything I can do? [Yes her saddle fits]
Well, she not used to having to be worked in the field, where in the arena she knows that she has to behave. And i don’t know but my horse LOVES to eat and when i tried ridding in the field she wanted to eat and i said no you have to work, she reared and i got a concussion. But if you really want to work her in the field start of small, maybe working or lounging her in the field to let her know she has a job to do now. Good luck and i hope everything works out!
