new to horse showing in QLD, Aus. where can I find rules and information?
I am going to start in maiden and ladies hack/galloway classes and want to know what rules there are and what work outs I would be asked to do. Also, what suitable riding attire to wear. I have a navy jacket and not sure whether to get a black helmet to match my gear or navy to match my jacket? Are there any websites with this information? I couldn’t find anything useful on yahoo and google.
I would pop down to a local show and talk to the people. Most horse people are more than happy to give you some advice.
Especially when it comes to attire you can find out a lot by just observing what you see.
Most judges would also be more than happy to have a chat with you and tell you if there are any specific rules and regulations. They would also be more than happy to help put you in touch with any relevant people.
