Equestrian College Choices?

I really want to go to this one Equestrian College called Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center but my family really wants me to go to a “real” college so they want me to go to the University of Findlay and major in Equestrian Studies. Which college is the best choice? I want to become a Riding Instructor/Trainer and eventually save up enough money to own my own stables. Should I go to:

Meredith Manor:
1 and a half year program that would give me a certificate to be able to teach riding, Dressage, and Jumping

or

University of Findlay:
4 year Bachelors Degree in Equestrian Studies, I wouldn’t get as much riding time but I would have a degree

Which do you think I should do? I want to go to the college that would best prepare me and help me get a good job in the horse industry.

Thank you! =)

Look into the degree programs available to Meredith Manor students. Meredith Manor students have the option of pursuing a Bachelors Degree with an equestrian emphasis through West Virginia University at Parkersburg. More info can be found at http://www.meredithmanor.edu/about/equestrian_degrees.asp. Also you mentioned saving money, keep in mind that the full program at MM will be almost $100,000 less than Findlay.
