Legit Horse Question!?
Ok so I’ve been riding Hunter/Jumper/Eq for 4 years now. I am big into fashion and I am noticing that equestrian fashion is a big thing right now. Im debating wearing my tall boots or hunt coat one day. It seems wierd to me but I want to try it. ‘
Has anyone worn their tall boots or hunt coat out in public? What did you wear them with? What did you think?
If you’ve never worn your riding clothes out in public on purpose, would you?
I chuckle to myself when I read questions like this – or rather questions on fashion.
It has all been around before when jodhpurs and boots have been the in thing.
Yes, I have worn my riding clothes out in public. I have worn them in church attending a funeral on more than one occasion – at all times the deceased was a Hunt member and the burial (usually arranged by non hunting family members) was held on a hunting day, so, we attended dressed ready for hunting or if the funeral was in the afternoon, we stopped hunting earlier and attended still in hunting gear.
I have worn the lot to parties, out shopping and visiting people in hospital. Who care as long as you have clean underwear on? LOL
