I would like to know more about the 2010 youth olympics.?
I live in Canada and I am 12 years old. I am interested in getting involved with the YOG either volunteering or competing. I would like to have some more information on if Canada is even in the YOG and how I can try out for the team. I would like to compete in 100m dash or maybe equestrian jumping. Anyone have any ideas where i can find this out?

I think your country will hold a Youth Olympic trials late this year ot early next year and not later than March 2009. One of the rules stated in Youth Olympics is that all qualifiers in every participating country must be known 18 months in advance. Since the 1st YOG will be held on August, 2010, all YOG qualifiers will be known by February, 2009.
its better that you have to inquire the Canadian Olympic Commitee regarding the youth olympics.
