Why Is This So In The Equestrian World?
Okay, so I as I look on Youtube, Yahoo Answers, and other places, I always notice that there are so many girl riders. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I am just curious as to why there aren’t as many guy riders. I want to do English, and am talking towards this style more. Such as in Dressage. There aren’t that many guys. All I want to know is why. It would be cool to have more guy riders, you know?
It would be cool to have more guy riders. Well look at the bright side… girls are going to be all over you. LOL. EVERYONE that rides wants a boyfriend that rides… it’s like a dream come true for us equestrians!!! So you are probably going to have no problem at all in the dating area…
But, I do see what you mean… I think that riding is viewed by society as more of a “girly” thing, so even if guys are interested in it often times they don’t have the balls to admit it. When in reality, as we all know, horses are FAR from girl. There is a lot of blood, sweat and tears involved in equestrianism!!
I do think that as you get more towards the top and “professional” riding, there are a ton of more guys.
Edit—-
Okay, it is one of my biggest pet peeves when people say we get off by riding horses. Anatomically I guess it would make sense, but that’s just not how it works. We are not sliding around back and forth in the saddle. We are sticking in one place while moving with the saddle/horse with our hips. If you aren’t moving around.. down there… it’s not going to get stimulated!!
Guys nuts don’t get smashed in the saddle either if they have the right riding position.

Bill Freeman – Competition Cutting This is Bill Freeman’s second cutting video and it is just as good as his first one, “Approaches to Cutting”. In this tape, Bill focuses mostly on training the horse. However, he does cover some of the most common mistakes people make when riding a cutter (most people don’t realize the way the horse is jockeyed is just as important as the training). What I like most about this video, is you get t… |

Widower Fred Bolton is in need of a fantastic campaign to promote the stomach pill Aspercel.
