equestrian towns

equestrian towns
central Washington university OR northern Arizona university!?

ok, so im stuck between two universities and its time to chose!
im going for pre-veterinary…. and i get in state for both, seeing that my parents live in different state…

but now im gonna weigh out both colleges, and i need some opinions!

CENTRAL:
i can be on the equestrian team
i wont know anyone
nice weather and outdoors
i can visit my sister and 2 hours from seattle
small town (15,000 people or so)
pretty old buildings

NAU:
all my friends are going there
close to phoenix
population 50,000
snowboarding
no equestrian team
newer campus
my aunts live near by

and theres more, but i need opinions and maybe what you would do if you were me or which one you’d go to…. thank you!

Depends how you like the weather, both can have colder temps and cloudy skies but I think you’re in for nicer weather at NAU. And a drive to Phoenix or Tucson isn’t too far to get even better weather. Some people get depressed if its cloudy all year round. Not to put down WA. Just a point of view.

You probably still have time to take a tour or either or both campuses, I really would recommend that because although I did mention weather here you really want to probably get a feel of what the students are like feel of the class size and atmosphere, dorms, etc. I guess at worse if you go to one and don’t like it hey you can always transfer to the other but that can be a pain so hopefully you don’t need to. Or you can always look into exchange or internship opportunities where you can go to the other campus for a semester or a few classes if that’s what you are into (experiencing more than one school).

Good luck to you!
