i just want to know if anyone has any cheap equestrian shops or knows of any because i am a little strapped for cash at the minute and suddenly equestrian prices seem to be sky rocketing.

You can get plenty of quality horse stuff on ebay. I do 80% of my horse shopping on ebay. As long as you do your research and know what you’re getting, you should be okay. I haven’t been disappointed yet
