Eventing vests…….?
I need to get an eventing vest,
what do you think of these two opitons:

but i have heard that the tipperary is not avalible for purchase anymore, is it still safe?..
i am a little hesitant to buy on ebay, what to you think, should i spend an extra 50-100$ to buy from a store?
I own a Tipperary .
The Tipperary is still available though supposedly, tests have been done that prove the Charles Owen to be more protective (though both pass the same standards).
The Tipperary is definitely more comfortable (but because it’s more flexible, it supposedly less protective than the stiffer-horribly-uncomfortable Charles Owen.
Tipperarys are the choice of most jumpers. While it’s still very popular among eventers, I see more and more eventers using Charles Owen.
I’d never get one from ebay, unless it’s from a large tack shops account- just get it from a tack shop so you can try it on!
