Recommend a comfortable quality helmet?
After my old helmet living a full life of five years, I figure it’s probably a good idea to get a new one, especially since the buckle is breaking 
I’m prepared to spend more than before (previous helmet was about $50) in favor of comfort and quality. I’m still not going overboard though, I know that those helmets can get pretty ridiculous! I really don’t know how much I’d be willing to spend, but I’d say up to $150 for a really good, well tested one. I’m always open for some flexibility, though.
Please don’t give me a list of what you found online, please give me first hand experience of you or someone you know. I’ll be going to some tack stores to try them on, but I’d love to know more about what I’m doing.
So if you are really satisfied with your current helmet or a past one, please do tell!

Oh, and by the way these are equestrian helmets I’m talking about, not biking or whatever 
I have a Charles Owen JR8 and a GR8. I use the JR8 for schooling, and the GR8 for showing. They are honestly the most comfortable helmets I have ever ridden in. I love them to death. If that’s too steep, I would agree that troxel’s are amazing! I had a tipperary too, they’re both good quality helmets that you can throw a velvet cover over if you want to show.
