equestrian office jobs
referring to my college question early… please help.?

ok so some of you said dont go for the whole equestrian career…just make it a passion. Well I can’t have a boring office job. Thats not me. I want to actually enjoy my job. I love animals. I want to work around animals. So what about a zoologist or something along those lines??? I’ve thought about this before and someone from my barn use to work at the zoo and she said it was fun.

I went for the equestrian career and haven’t regretted it at all! I have been all over the place and worked with some amazing people and horses. I even got to work at a barn in California right outside of LA which was awesome- esp since there were a few horses that had been in movies there! Some of my classmates in college have gone off to do some pretty amazing things with their Equine Degrees. One girl has just begun showing the Grand Prix circuit, many of them went on to vet school, my best friend opened up her own equine rehab and training facility outside of Atlanta. I am preparing for the GRE so I can go back to school to get my masters in Animal Science with a concentration in equine nutrition. If I hadn’t gone to college for Equine Studies I would have never found out I had a deeper passion for the nutrition side of things. I had always thought I wanted to breed horses for a living and quickly that wasn’t what I wanted to do. Following my passion was the best decision I ever made! Plus it made me enjoy the heck out of college! Do what you want! You’ll spend more time at your job than anywhere else- why not love what you do?! Good luck!
