IDA, NCAA, IHSA Equestrian Teams?
I want to Join a Equestrian team when I go into college and I’m a freshman in high school. I ride dressage now and would like to do IDA( the dressage team) but also do some hunter classes. Can I do IDA and NCAA. What is the difference between IHSA and NCAA? I heard you can’t show other classes out of your college in NCAA what about IDA and IHSA? I would like to show in the summer when I am home from college so could I for NCAA? For NCAA you can’t get call backs til Spet. 1st of Senior year what about IDA and IHSA? When should I start sending videos and applicant forms? What is better, NCAA or IHSA? Also I live in the Midwest. WHat is the best IHSA and IDA college team in the midwest?
Can you get farther in your riding career in NCAA or IHSA? I know I want to do riding, I have ridden since i was 5 ( freshman now) and I have done schooling local shows to A rated shows each year
