How do I tell somone I want to move my horse from their house to a barn?
My horse lives a my friends house from high school and I go to college 2 1/2 hours away. The college that I go to has an equestrian team and the barn that I train at has pasture board and my coach said that I could board my horse there. I really want to bring him closer to me because he doesn’t get ridden at home and I would love to ride him more and see him more. I want to tell the people that I want to move my horse but I am a little nervous. They only have one horse and if I took my horse away then their mare would be by herself and I think she would get upset if she were alone all the time and I would feel guilty. What should I say? Should I do it in person, email, phone?? Help!
Tell the people that you feel bad leaving your horse so far away. tell them that with gas prices lately, it’s just too much to be driving down their.also tell them that you’re not spending enough time with your horse their, but you feel bad about leaving their barn and spending less time with your friend. spend some extra time with your friend just to let them know you didn’t forget about them.
