how do you shrink leather equestrian half chaps?
I have a pair of grand prix leather half chaps. I have cleaned them after every day of riding (i ride 6 days a week) and it has stretched them out a little. I know over time that they will stretch out but I recently purchased them less than a month ago and the woman at the tack store said that cleaning them over and over would improve the leather but stretches them out faster. I paid a lot of money for these so if you do not know what you are doing, please dont answer. I DO NOT WANT TO RUIN them i just want to shrink them a little bit if possible?
you cant. maby after u ride ddon’twet them just brush them over with a dry cloth or use your body brush that u use on your horse, but make sure its clean!! i had the same problem so i just didnt wipe them wet for a while and i eventually grew into them.
