I need some ideas for music/costumes for 4 horses that are white to gray dapple.A high school state event.?
This is a h/s equestrian team with first year riders. They have worked very hard and the only training that the have had is from the teams coach. They are from low income families and can’t spend alot on costumes. They were told not to exspect to win any events due to going up against teams with exsperience, trainers and top of the line horses. Well these young riders proved that it doesn’t always have to be about who’s who or money, they took 1st from the long standing winners in working fours. Now they should have costumes that go to the theme of a song to ride their horses thru the timed pattern drill. Does any one have any ideas? One team dressed the horses as pirates, another as pink panther and the detective and one team in a hawian theme. Just a for a few an example. They have the last district meet Easter weekend and state mid may. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Some of the other events that they do are poles, barrels, trail,sorting and IHOR Thank you so very much.
Dressage Girl has a good idea. Dress them up as something Easter-themed, like eggs or rabbits. I’m not sure about music, though.
