high school horseback riding team?
I am looking to start a horseback riding team at my school. We have 2 jumpers, 2 pleasure riders, adn 2 speed riders all of this is done outside of school at different barns with different instructors. My school is in Illinois I was just wondering how I would go about starting one of these. My aunt told me that I could go through IHSA illinois high school association but they don’t have anything about horseback riding on there. so I looked up IHSA lol this time it meant Illinois Horse Show Association but they are only for college equestrian teams it looks like. How did you guys start your teams, how do they work, how much do they cost, do you need your own horse, what classes are shown in? Thanks for any info you gan give me! I really hope I can start one of these.
You can research here for a start
