What horse is calmer or has a better disposition a appaloosa or a welsh cob pony?
Im looking for a horse and have my eyes on a few appaloosas and welsh cobs Im a begginer rider so the calmer the better
I bought an Appaloosa as my first horse and I was pretty much a beginner as well under the saddle as I hadn’t ridden for a couple of years.
He was perfect. 10 year old, compeltely bombproof. He was just lazy. So it boruhg tmy confidence up alot when we first cantered as it was hard to make him canter. It was great sense of achievement 
I bought him 8 months ago, he turned 11 last october and now we’re beginning our western career. He’s western trained, and I ride western, but now we’re getting into Barrel Racing and i’m teaching him more western pleasure moves.
